Each August, Rotary celebrates Membership and New Club Development Month. This is a wonderful Opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our dedicated members. This month, we honor the significant difference that members have made and will continue to make as we move forward. Together, let's work to grow Rotary and Create Lasting Impact!
Watch RI President Olayinka H. Babalola and 2027-28 RI President Larry A Lunsford share a message about Rotary’s 2030 membership goal. We will grow with a sustained focus on attracting new members, engaging our current members and starting new clubs.
Engage with individual members at every stage of their membership. Use the member interest survey to understand what new and prospective members value, and distribute the member satisfaction survey annually to gather feedback on how your members feel. By regularly asking for feedback and responding to it, you demonstrate openness to change and empower members to be involved in creating their ideal club experience.
For members old and new, Designing Your Rotary Experience is a guide that offers recommendations on how to connect and collaborate, engage in meaningful service, develop leadership skills, and broaden your perspectives.
Throughout August, look for membership-related news and resources on the Discover Rotary page on Facebook. Share vibrant Rotary, Rotaract and Interact "I'm a Proud Member” graphics, and encourage members to showcase these images on their social media platforms.
